In Sunset Overdrive Collectibles are things that can be found throughout the whole map. There are 859 collectibles scattered in Sunset City, and 20 each in the Mooil Rig and Fizzco Robotics. There are 10 different collectibles: Billboards (Taggings), Fizzco Security Cameras, Fizzie Balloons, High Points, Overcharge Hologram Signs, Satellites, Scraps of Toilet Paper, Shoes, Smartphones and UFOs.
Maps for all Collectibles can be purchased from Two-Hat Jack using OverCharge after finding the first item in that category. The cost per map per Collectible is as follows:
- Old Factory - 2500
- Little Tokyo 5000
- Harbor - 7500
- Downtown, Mooil Rig and Fizzco Robotics - 10,000
In addition to the above, there are also 12 drawings by Ainsley, daughter of Game Directer Drew Murray. These are hidden and can only be found by looking for a Y button prompt. See Achievements for a walkthrough video link.
In Sunset City there are 40 billboards to be tagged. The billboards because they get tagged are fairly blank, they say "Your Advertisement Here" and contain the Fizzco logo. To interact with them, go up to the billboard and hold Y. Once you interact with the billboard, an animation will play of your character spray-painting a robot and the word "Dominated" onto the billboard. Once you tag all 40 billboards you are awarded the Achievement "It's Art, Ok?", along with 10 gamerscore and a clothing item.
Fizzco Security CamerasEdit
In Sunset City there are 150 security cameras to be destroyed. Their lenses are used to help isolate extremeophiles. The cameras are typically on the side of buildings and on poles that are attached to grinding wires. Once you destroy all 150 cameras you are awarded the achivement "Big Brother", along with 10 gamerscore and the Camera Helmet.
In Sunset City there are 150 Fizzie balloons to be collected. They contain hydrogen fluoride used to kick-start reactants. The balloons are scattered around the map, usually on top of things you can bounce on. Once you collect all 150 balloons you are awarded the achivement "Hot Air", along with 10 gamerscore and the Fizzie Helmet.
In Sunset City there are 20 high points to be found. To activate the high points, hold down Y when approaching the binoculars. Once you find all 20 high points you are awarded with the achivement "Explorer", along with 10 gamerscore and a clothing item.
Overcharge Hologram SignsEdit
In Sunset City there are 150 overcharge hologram signs to be collected. They help provide radically ionized particles for good organic conduction. The signs are scattered around the map, usually on the sides of building. Once you collect all 150 signs you are awarded the achivement "What's You Sign", along with 10 gamerscore and a clothing item.
In Sunset City there are 9 satellites to eavesdrop with. To be able to use the satellite dishes, you must first complete a mission (name of mission). To eavesdrop you must point the dish in the correct area, this can be done by using the meter at the bottom of the screen. Finding them all will unlock the "Wire Tapping" achievement, 10 Gamerscore and the Space Helmet.
Scraps of Toilet PaperEdit
In Sunset City there are 150 scraps of toilet paper to be collected. They make a good catalytic substrate. The scraps are located around the map, strung around poles that are horizontal. Collecting them all will unlock the "Litter" achievement., 10 Gamerscore and a vanity item
In Sunset City there are 150 shoes that can be found hanging from telephone wires. They are needed for sulfur dioxide. Collecting all of these awards you with the "Shoe Closet" achievement, 10 Gamerscore and a vanity item.
40 smartphones are scattered throughout the city. Each one will provide a little bit of back story, readable in the Log tab of the pause menu. Collecting them all will unlock the "Intel" achievement, 10 Gamerscore and a vanity item.
20 UFOs are scattered throughout both the Mooil Rig and Fizzco Robotics. There is no Achievement or vanity unlock for UFOs.
